Excellent food and service! Garlic bread, fish on a skewer and mousse au chocolate and mousse with mango. We loved all of them! Hadn’t a reservation but the staff was amazing and managed to get a free table within minutes. All were very kind!

Great service and tasty food for a very reasonable price. Very attentive and caring staff. Bonus points for amazing mustache.

My family & I had a wonderful experience here! The food was delicious, all of the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Lovely atmosphere and music, variety of options on the menu and accessible to all. It was a brilliant end to our trip, would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

Great restaurant! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The espetada was the best I’ve ever had, and the squid and dourada were perfectly cooked, moist and paired with a delicious purée. The waitstaff was professional, and overall, it was excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Last evening (February 23, 2025) we had a delightful dinner at Dona Nina Restaurante. We had passed by it before and for some reason never stopped. Definitely our mistake. We will be back. Every part of the experience was just lovely. The staff is really on their game, the complimentary Madeira wine as well as an amuse bouche to start was just right. We each loved our mains. The meat-eater had the stroganoff and I had the seafood platter. We were both very pleased. We were also very pleased with dessert; pineapple flambé and mousse au chocolat were a perfect finish.

Wonderful meal and great service! Would absolutely recommend! We started with garlic prawns, the starter was just perfect. The garlic sauce was sensational! We ordered the traditional espetada de carne. It was seasoned well, super tasty! We also asked for cheesecake of maracujá (passion fruit) and tiramisu. The cheesecake was fantastic!I really recommend this restaurant. Amazing food and staff, they are very attentive! Great hospitality

After being here for a week we went here on our last night. It was simply superb.Superb food, service and value. Maria our waitress was wonderful, witty and gave us great advice on our choices.We had cocktails, grilled calamari, brushetta starters followed by mixed fish on skewer and prawn tagliatelle. Then passion fruit dessert and a cheeseboard.There are no frozen crinkle cut chips here only perfectly prepared fresh vegetables and salads to go with the fabulous food.Faultless.

Fantastic food, reasonable price, super friendly/professional staff ! We came in on a super windy day, ate outside and it was the best beef and seafood pastas we ever had! If you can find a place inside: bonus! It is super cute! Menu in multiple languages too! Sorry no photo of the beef skewer- it disappeared really fast (soooooo good!) we had: mussels with cheese bolo do caco as appetizers then shrimp tagliatelle, spaghetti nemo with salmon, spaghetti nemo mussels/calamari, and beef skewer. All to die for! Excellent quality!
